 O'Shea's Olde Inn a Wine Tasting while the Food Fest is being conducted. The Food Fest will have live music from "Velvet" Joe McDonald, Greg Buckley, Dinah Melon, Terry Brennan, Terry Clen, Christy Henshaw and more. The event will raise funds and non-perishable food for needy Veterans, and families of deployed troops. Cape Cod Veterans host the event

Whiskey, Whiskey, Golf ,is an acronym for Wounded Warrior's Group. Three local musicians are entertaining at different locations throughout Cape Cod. The group is playing for free and hopeful that audiences will donate what ever they can to support Wounded Warriors Weekend on Cape Cod. The weekend includes Deep Sea Fishing, Camping, Kayaking. Golf, Music and Sight Seeing. These donations will support this weekend. The weekend last year was attended by 25 injured veterans and their families, who were injured in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Cape Cod Group arranged travel, logistics, and events allowing the Veterans: quality of life events, and dignity. There were Veterans last year from all over the Eastern United States, and to see them enjoying our pristine Cape Cod is more than moving. So we will see you there @ 19:30 ( 7:30 pm) civilian time. Please attend and be as generous as you can, the Veterans certainly deserve it. SPONSORED by CAPE COD VETERANS. There will be other musical guests performing that support Veterans. DON’T MISS THIS.

Cape Cod Celtic Society has been reestablished email them and join a great group with fantastic music. Also watch for the Harwich Folk Festival to become a great tradition.

TRURO VINEYARDS

Fall 2010 brought us to the end of our second season hosting private parties and events. This year we held a number of weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, private luncheons, barrel room dinners and private wine tastings. pavilion eventWe have three unique venues to choose from that fit a number of occasions. Whether you want to throw an intimate wedding or schedule a private dinner in our barrel room we are offering our vineyard  as a beautiful and charming backdrop for your occasion. 2011 will also bring a whole new season of WAAM, our Wednesday evening wine series. The first two seasons were well received and we look forward to showcasing different chefs, artists and musicians in the area. We will also have Taste of Truro in late Spring,  Truro Treasures in late Summer and a few barrel room dinners open to the public next season. Check our Calendar in the Spring so you can include us in your vacation plans! The employee pick for wine this season is our 2008 Triumph.  This is our classic Bordeaux style blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc.  This heavier bodied red pairs very nicely with a nice cut of meat or lamb.  We like to drink it with a bit of dark chocolate around the fire!
